Phone Line Interference
We are aware of the ongoing issue with our phone lines producing a crackling sound, which can make hearing or speaking difficult. This is a CenturyLink service problem, not an internal system fault. We have reported the issue to CenturyLink numerous times.
Unfortunately, due to the age of the cabling, CenturyLink has chosen not to replace it. The problem is weather-dependent — when conditions become too hot, too cold, or too wet, the interference worsens.
While there is currently nothing we can do to repair the lines directly, we are actively exploring alternative solutions to improve communication reliability.
